I, (Ella) have known Marion since I came to live in Ireland for the first time and what a beautiful soul she is! We’ve been friends ever since and I am happy to have been there to capture the beauty and to create the story that is, Marion + Darren! Dean and Darren have come the longest of ways, but it’s best we leave it at that, because there’s not enough space on this to remotely explain their friendship!
Belinda and Rob had a beautiful ceremony in the Talbot Hotel, Carlow! Belinda looked absolutely gorgeous! (She resembled the look of a modern day Marylin Monroe, with dark hair!)
A couples wedding day is one of the biggest milestones that you celebrate in life. Endless amount of planning and preparation all for that one day where family and friends gather to celebrate the love of two people. For family and friends it is an exciting event to look forward to, for the couple it’s a counting clock, which tick tocks the sound of a deadline and the days to the big day are counted down.
We had such a wonderful time documenting Aisling + Mary’s Wedding Day! It was a day filled with so much love with family and friends. The ceremony and reception took place in The Talbot Hotel, Carlow. Ireland the land of the ever changing weather and if you’re getting married here you’ll probably have a 50 percent chance of rain on your wedding day. It was raining the whole day, but as the superstition goes, it signifies a blessing from the Gods and it also represents unity, renewal and cleansing!
We have never been to a three day wedding before, in fact we’ve never been to a wedding in France and I have to say it was amazingly beautiful! It was alot more than a wedding, it was the first time in six years that André and his family were all together. André who is South African left SA six years ago to fulfill his rugby dreams. He now plays for SCA-Albi, prior to this he played for Section-Paloise. Rugby is a big deal for this family and so is “the braai” you’ll get a taste for this in the picture story below. As well as André’s family traveling from SA, it was the first time both the families would meet. Tears, laughter and emotions were everywhere and it adds to been the perfect story to document.
The morning of the wedding, Annemarie got her hair and make up done in Eyre hair by all her lovely friends and co workers, the place was buzzing! (I’ve never seen a bride actually working on her wedding day…) While all this was happening, Dean was with Gary at his family’s home getting ready with the lads. The guys had a mini adventure down to Martinstown House, Ballysax, for a early morning shoot! What a beautiful location, not to mention the hospitality. The sun was shining and everybody was psyched with excitement.
Stacey and Chris created a day that was truly special. You can see and feel the love they share by just being in their presence. Beautiful pictures for beautiful people…….. thank god for the ‘child of prague’ 😉
